Projected strong winds this week increase the risk for more wildfires. Electrical utilities plan on implementing “public safety power shutoffs” to some communities deemed to be at risk.

The State of California has launched RESPONSE.CA.GOV to help Californians affected by wildfires and shutoffs. Please visit this website to get the information and resources you need during this very challenging time for our state. The website includes links to the following:

  • Latest updates on potential power shutdowns in your area;
  • Information on current wildfires;
  • Locations to stay safe during wildfires and power shutdowns; and
  • Much more.
